"Are We There Yet?"

"Are We There Yet?" Those four words are repeated by many children to their parents on long car rides. If, for example, a family was driving to Disneyland, the wait would be especially hard for the children. They would want to see Mickey Mouse. They would want to go on the amazing rides.

"Are We There Yet?" Many Christians strongly yearn for Heaven. Heaven will be beyond what we can possibly imagine here on Earth. We will be with God and worship Him forever.

For people that know Jesus, we know that there is only one way to Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by me."(John 14:6) You can only go to Heaven through Jesus. If you are reading this, and you don't know Jesus, you can come to Him right now. He died on a cross two thousand years ago, and rose from the dead. He can forgive you of wrongs you have done (sins). We have all sinned, but Jesus can completely forgive us. The punishment for our sins is death--eternal seperation from God. Jesus took upon all our sins on a cross, so we don't have to experience eternal punishment--we can be forgiven. People that don't choose Jesus before they die experience eternal punishment, but those that choose Jesus--those that are forgiven by Jesus and love Jesus get to be with Him forever. You can a personal relationship with Him. You can say something like this to Him: "Jesus, forgive me of the wrong things I have done. I believe that you died for me, and rose from the dead. Come into my life today."

Heaven will be incredible, but right now, we can have a daily relationship with Jesus that literally changes our lives.
